It’s been a while since I’ve written and honestly it’s because I just don’t know what to say. I’ve been through some things in the last couple weeks that have been like wrecking balls through my mind. And I have had plenty of ideas of things I could write but it never happened. So here is what I have finally come up with…

Life is really good at throwing curveballs. The saying goes, “when life gives you lemons…”

Well sometimes the lemons are not just handed to you. Sometimes they are chucked full force. And you are left with the choice to either dodge them, let them hit you, or try to catch them.

For a while I let them hit me. I just stood there and allowed myself to get hurt. — let me tell you, it’s not fun. DONT DO IT.

Sometimes we have to make hard decisions in life. Decisions that we rrrreeeaaaallllllyyyy don’t want to make. But we have to. And then, after we’ve made that decision, we sit there and feel sorry for ourselves or we sulk. We let our mind over work itself just for the sake of “remembering”. ITS NOT WORTH IT. I promise you.

Yes, there will be hard decisions that you have to make in life, but the best thing for us to do after that is get up and choose to keep going. We have to choose to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Because if we are too busy looking behind us we are not even going to see that there is another end to the tunnel. Life goes on, and things get better. But we have to choose happiness, even if that’s not the easiest choice.
Some encouragements:

-don’t let old friends’ opinions affect you

-keep your eyes open for new opportunities

-you will find the right him/her

-hold your head high

-choose to be happy even if you can’t find a reason to
